Fresh, concentrated orange juicer and then frozen (FCOJ) has without doubt, a worldwide commodity.
Brazil is the largest producer with a quantity of transformed products which is higher than 14 million tons and production of over a million tons of FCOJ 65°Bx. The United States are the second largest world producers with approximately 740,000 tons of concentrated juice. We need however to consider the sizeable production of natural fruit juice.
Amongst the most important evaporators used in this area, we’d like to mention T.A.S.T.E. (Thermally Accelerated Short Time Evaporator) These machines can concentrate and also pasteurise juice and also deactivate enzymes.
